On this site, you should be able to access information from your teachers that they want you to see and use, such as lesson plans, lesson resources, homework info, tips and links for personal study, information about trips etc.

Should you find any good resources, wesbites, books, articles, journals and reviews that might be helpful to others on the course, please give the info to your teacher who will post in on the LE for you.

Remember - you are not in competition with each other, so the more help you can give each other, the better you will all do.

Guidelines for AS Coursework submission:

1. Essays must printed on A4 paper and each page numbered at the bottom.
2. Lines should be double spaced.
3. A word count must be included at the bottom of each page.
4. The word limit is 2000. A 5% excess will be accepted (i.e. 2100 words), but no more.
5. The essay title, any footnotes and bibliography do not count towards your word limit.
6. All quotes and research must be referenced and a bibliography must be included at the end.
7. Submission deadlines are fixed. If you miss the 1st draft deadline you will lose the opportunity to have a first draft marked. If you miss a final submission deadline, 5% of your mark will be lost for every day after the deadline that coursework is not submitted.
8. Extensions can be applied for, but only under exceptional circumstances will an extension be granted. An 'application for extension' form can be downloaded from here.
