Going to university is a great opportunity for thousands of people throughout the UK.
As well as gaining extra qualifications, you will become more independent, be able to try new activities and meet lots of new people. You will be able to develop new skills, and gain confidence.
You must be prepared to work hard and to manage your own time.
You will be able to gain a certificate, diploma or degree depending on the course you take.
You might be able to get into student accommodation, so make sure you enquire about this as well as thoroughly checking what financial support you might be entitled to.
